PADI Advanced open water certification

Some of the world’s greatest dive sites require that you be an Advanced open water diver. This course. will take your diving to new dimensions, Building confidence and gaining new skills The course comprises of 5 Adventure dives with a short Knowledge review for each dive. You will be happy to know there is no final exam as with the open water course. The Deep & Navigation dives are compulsory but you get to choose the other 3 according to where your interest lies.

The most popular elective dives include the Night dive, Peak performance Buoyancy, The Multilevel dive (where you learn how to plan your dive into multiple depths and thereby extending your allowed bottom time), the Underwater Naturalist dive (where you learn to identify fish, vertebrates, plants and marine ecology). Other nice optional dives include the Wreck dive which is done on the "King Cruiser" (83 m long car/passenger ferry), Drift dive, Photography dive etc.

The course takes 2 to 3 days depending on your elective dives. If time or funds are short then you can take any of the dives and have them logged as adventure dives which count towards your Advanced certification at a later date. As with all courses discounted accommodation is available at Longbeach Resort.
