PADI Divemaster Course
Start a new & rewarding career working in some of the world’s most exotic places & actually earn money rather than pay to go diving as you do now. The Divemaster course is the first step in becoming a professional SCUBA diver. Once certified you can work in the industry leading dives and assisting with courses. To start the course all you need is 20 logged dives and be a certified Rescue Diver. You will also become member of PADI, The professional association of diving instructors, the worlds biggest dive educator. During this course you will improve you skills to the level of instructor as well as develop your dive theory knowledge.
Whilst assisting our instructors in teaching real courses you will get hands on experience in dive supervision and leadership. Other course components will include mapping of dive sites, guiding certified divers, problem solving exercises and learning how to teach certain PADI programs. Although the course can be completed in as little as 4 weeks we recommend you spend a minimum of 8 weeks with us as the experience you gain leading divers and problem solving will make you a much better Divemaster & better prepared for the IDC should you choose to go on to be an Instructor. "I was looking for a dive shop with a more relaxed atmosphere to do my divemaster course. I loved the fact that Long Beach Divers was situated right on a quiet stretch of beach, without the chaos of the busier parts of Phi Phi island. They helped me get cheap accommodation, and I loved that the dive sites were all less than thirty minutes from the beach. The dive sites themselves were fantastic, and I was allowed unlimited diving during my course--I logged more than seventy dives in just eight weeks. Although I was assigned one teacher, nearly every member of the Long Beach shop helped me with my training.
