The Man
Trevor Chennells:
Born 1953 in London England. Started diving in 1995 in the Maldives.
Has since been diving in Fiji, Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia & Thailand. Currently manager of Long Beach Divers where he has been since 2001.
Trevor is a Master Scuba diver as well as an Emergency first response instructor, PADI Assistant instructor & Dan O2 provider with over 3000 dives around Phi Phi. Considered by many to be the most experienced dive guide on Phi Phi Island....

Ulli Gartlehner:
Born 1980 in Steyr, Austria. Started diving in 1999 on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.
Has since been diving in Egypt, Malaysia, Borneo, Philippines, Indonesia, and Thailand. Currently working for Long Beach divers where she has been since 2006.
Ulli is IDC Staff Instructor , EFR Instructor, Speciality Instructor for Nitrox, Deep Dive, Navigation, UW Photography, Multilevel and Computer Diving, Wreck Diving, and Night Diving, as well as DSAT Gas Blender and DAN O2 Provider with over 600 dives around Phi Phi. She also has experience as a Tour leader on Similan Live aboard trips.

Magnus Sund:
Born 1970 in Borlange Sweden & Started diving in 1997 in the Philippines .
Has since been diving in Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam & Sweden. Magnus is IDC STAFF Instructor, EFR Instructor with care for children & AED. Magnus is also speciality instructor in deep dive, night dive, wreck dive, UW-photo & computer multilevel with over 600 dives around phi phi.
He also have a lot of experience in cold water diving since he did his rescue to instructor in Sweden.
He also has been working in Vietnam and the east cost of Thailand but prefer the diving on Phi Phi much better.

Pascal Derieux (or Paco for short):
A PADI instructor. Born 1974 in Milan, Italy.
Started diving in 1996 in the Red Sea, Egypt. & has since been diving in Australia, New Zealand, Vanuatu, The Philippines, Kenya, Spain & Thailand. Having been on Phi Phi Island since 2005 I now consider this my home. I love diving & think I will continue all my life because I like being with people, I am fascinated by other cultures & countries & I consider the underwater world a colourful animated universe full of amazing surprises. So come and join me for an amazing underwater adventure. Ciao Paco.

Suradet Chomphuphet (Jen):
Born 20th June 1985 in Khon Khen, Thailand.
Jen as we call him first came to Phi Phi Island in February 2007. Initially working as our tank man. Jen proved to be a hard working guy with a keen interest in Diving.
At Long Beach Divers we strive to employ local people where ever possible so after completing the open water course we continued his diving education up to Divemaster.
Jen is now a highly valued member of the Longbeach team and is a favourite with customers as well as having a sharp eye for sea horses, Turtles & Leopard Sharks.
