Rescue Diver Course

This course will turn you into an aware and responsible diver - if you aren't already. The rescue diver program prepares you to help  prevent & IF necessary assist in dive emergencies using a variety of techniques.

You will improve you skills as a diver Gaining confidence in self rescue and the care of others diving with you. Over a minimum of 3 days you will complete the in water sessions and learn the correct procedures to follow when managing a rescue scenario. You will also learn how to deal with panicked, distressed and unconscious divers in and under the water.

To become a Rescue diver you should be certified in CPR & First aid within the last 2 years. We can teach you the Emergency First Response course if required. The theory includes self rescue & scene management.

A Rescue diver is a fully trained diver and it is the last step before you decide to go pro. Lots of fun & regarded by many as the most rewarding course. Take the EFR course and receive a 10% discount from the Rescue course. As with all our courses discounted accommodation is available at Longbeach resort.
